Love Modesto Kick Off Party begins at 7:00am

on I & 10th Streets (right in front of the Gallo Center)

Pancake breakfast, free refreshments, giveaways, kids activities, etc.!


All volunteers will meet here BEFORE going to your project location. It's going to be an incredible family-friendly atmosphere before the 8:30am Kick Off and then sending thousands out to go volunteer in projects all over Modesto!

Projects

Thats over 16,500 volunteer hours that equates to over $575,000 worth of time invested in Modesto.

  • 10 flower pen bouquets with thank you cards headed to teachers
  • 260 bags/cans of pet food donated
  • 260 Veterans cards were made thanking those that sacrificed for our country
  • 128 teddy bears were made to give to children experiencing crisis
  • 12 posters thanking healthcare workers for their tireless work
  • 100 rocks painted with inspiring messages of hope
  • 2,500 pounds of trash removed from Gateway Park
  • 8 posters thanking social workers for the way they care for those in need
  • 7 gardens planted around town
  • 300 carnations handed out to seniors living in area retirement homes
  • 10 schools were loved on by those doing projects at these sites
  • 22 new comforters and 50 new crib sheets donated; giving children in foster care a cozy place to sleep

  • 16 parks and trails cleaned and beautified   
  • 8 projects serving seniors in our area
  • 12 bags of compassion, 45 snack bags, and 60 cards of encouragement donated and assembled for survivors of human trafficking
  • 11 fidget blankets and 100 bouquets of comfort made for hospice patients
  • 4,000 hygiene kits assembled that will be given to those who utilize the Shower Shuttle
  • 209 pairs of new pajamas donated for children in foster care
  • 187 rice bags sewn and ready to give to ease the sore muscles of cancer patients
  • 2,236 pounds of trash picked up by the Downtown Streets Team
  • 4 home makeovers (1 including new heating and A/C system)
